It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Delegation of the European Commission to Singapore.

EU and Singapore share many common features and values, such as a deep respect for cultural, religious and linguistic diversity and a commitment to regional integration.

Through these pages you will discover what the European Union (EU) has to offer in terms of culture, economics, education, politics and science & technology. With 27 countries, nearly 500 million people and one of the largest GDP’s in the world, the EU is of increasing importance to Singapore and the whole Asia.

This website is designed to serve as a doorway to the EU, its institutions and policies. Here you will find an overview of the EU, its relations and cooperation with Singapore and South-East Asia. It is also a useful place to seek information on upcoming events organized by the Delegation and the activities of the EU member states in Singapore.

The EU is the Singapore’s largest source of Foreign Direct Investment and is Singapore’s second largest trading partner after Malaysia. The EU also has a significant business presence, which is supported by the European Chamber of Commerce (EuroCham) and the European National Business Groups.
